Automotive Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, and other vehicle systems.

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.

• Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify mechanical problems accurately.

• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about vehicle issues and recommended repairs.

• Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Keep up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in automotive repair is preferred.

• Minimum of [5+] years of hands-on experience as an automotive mechanic.

• ASE Certification(s) highly preferred.

• Must own your own tools.

• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.

• Proficiency with a variety of tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair techniques.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
